AMAZING JOURNEY OF MaCherie Majesty: A RISING STAR IN THE MUSIC SCENE.

Although Cherise was born in North York, her family moved to Oakville when she was just two years old. She spent her childhood and teenage years there, deeply connected to the community. But it wasn’t until the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020 that she discovered her musical path. During those months of isolation and uncertainty, Cherise started freestyle rapping with her brother. It was just a way to pass time at first, but it quickly became something more,a passion she couldn’t ignore. "I was bored staying at home and started freestyle rapping with my brother and also singing and being creative, writing songs," she explains. It was the spark that ignited her journey into music.
MaCherie Majesty’s adventurous spirit has also played a big part in her growth as an artist. One of her most defining moments happened on a spontaneous road trip to Lake Louise, Alberta. Always looking for new experiences, she found herself waking up in Winnipeg one morning, feeling the need to capture the ideas that had been bouncing around in her head. “I told myself I was going to a studio to record my song ideas that have been in my mind,” she recalls. That very day, she found a studio in Winnipeg that charged her $60 for two hours, and there she recorded two tracks: *Good Vibes Only* and *Faith and Flow*. From that point on, she was hooked on making music.
While she enjoys working in different studios, MaCherie wishes she had one consistent space to record all her music. "Yes, I wish I found one studio to record all my songs, instead of going around to different studios all over Toronto," she admits. Yet, despite the challenges of moving between studios, she’s built a strong foundation for her sound. One key person in her journey has been her producer, Dukezmusic, who has supported her from the start. In Dukezmusic’s home studio, they’ve recorded several tracks together, including *Ex Boyfriend*, *Hurts So Bad Remix*, *Holdin On*, and *Angels and Demons*.
MaCherie Majesty’s music spans genres, blending R&B, Hip Hop, Rap, and a touch of Gospel. One of her most personal pieces is the freestyle rap on *Faith and Flow* from her *High Priestess* EP, a song written during a time when she felt deeply connected to her faith. "I was praying a lot and felt a strong connection with God, like he was taking care of me during hard times in life," she says. Her music is not only a reflection of her life experiences but also a way for her to navigate the struggles of life, offering comfort through creative expression.
She also emphasizes the importance of self-belief and investment in your craft: “It’s important to believe in yourself and have lots of confidence. If you don’t believe in yourself or your talent, who else will? Don’t be afraid to spend money and invest in yourself and your music. Spending money for professional photography for cover art, studio time, mixing, and mastering is essential.”
MaCherie Majesty’s discography is rich with emotional depth, drawing from personal challenges and triumphs. On her *Tha Queen* EP, she dives into themes of passion, uncertainty, and resilience. In her track *Can’t Stop*, she expresses her unwavering passion for music, despite feeling like she’s not where she’s supposed to be in life. “I can’t stop creating music and pursuing my goals,” she says. Another standout song from the EP is *All Out of Love*, which was inspired by a past relationship where she felt she was giving more love than she was receiving. “I just felt like abandoning the relationship and moving to a different city away from the person,” she laughs.
On her deeply emotional *Tha Empress* EP, MaCherie opens up about her experiences of heartbreak and moving on. Songs like *Ex Boyfriend* reflect the painful process of letting go and wanting to go back to someone she once loved. But despite these difficult moments, she’s grown stronger and has channeled her emotions into her music. "I’m over my breakup now and the difficulties in life that I documented on *Tha Empress* EP."
Her upcoming project represents a new chapter in her life, one that’s focused on finding love again. "On my new project EP, I’ll be making songs about my desire to find and meet someone new and fall in love again." One song she’s particularly excited about is *I Can’t Live Without Your Love*, where she talks about wanting to find someone who is very loving and affectionate, since she considers herself shy and the opposite of that personality.
MaCherie Majesty isn’t just dreaming about success she’s actively working to manifest it. She strongly believes in the power of visualization and positive thinking. "What you think about comes to you. The mind is like a magnet. What you think about, you attract," she says. Lately, she’s been imagining her songs playing on the radio and visualizing herself performing live on stage. These are dreams she believes will become a reality, as she continues to work toward her goals.
With a powerful voice, an unwavering belief in herself, and a growing catalogue of heartfelt songs, MaCherie Majesty is on the path to achieving great success. She’s determined to make her mark in the music industry, one song at a time, with the confidence that her talent and vision will take her there.
